hey

The shortest method will depend on wat all do u know about the ||gm ... generally breaking into two triangles seem the easiest ..

ar of llgm is also equal 2 1/2 d1*d2
where d1 n d2 are d diagonals

Well, there can be many methods to find the area of a parallelogram. As puneet and deepak sir said, by
1)resolving it into triangles,
2)using diagonal formula and
3)using vector cross product(if u know its sides in vector form)
 
There can be many other ways, but depends upon what the question has for information and what u r being asked.
