For pursuing a Bachelors Degree course in Fine Arts, one must have passed the Higher Secondary Examinations or 10+ 2. Along with this academic qualification one should have a creative bent of mind and an eye for detail.

Painting involves designing portraits, sceneries on different surfaces using various types of medium. Whereas sculpting is creating statues by either chiseling stone or handling clay.  Engrossing a lot of time, this task gives shape to ingenious art. These days’ sculptors use materials like reinforced cement, concrete or plaster of Paris, contouring amazing results.

An individual with a degree in commercial fine arts can choose a career either in designing or in the advertisement industry. A graphic designer with his artistry   intermingle logos and designs for visual aids in commercial houses and illustrations in books or magazines for a publishing houses. Another option involves designing the non verbal presentations for television programmes, dealing with trade figure analysis, election results and so on.

An artist with a degree in commercial fine arts can also design stamps and letter heads for government organizations. Many advertisement and software firms look for experts in commercial fine arts for the post of ‘Graphic Equalizer’. An artist specializing in fine arts can also draw and design billboards, technical catalogues, cinema slides and other such products. Further he can also work as an art director in theatre and film productions which is a combination of creativity and imagination.
