first one represents a complete solid square(containing origin) plate in xy plane having its sides on x=-2,x=2,y=2,y=-2

but second 1 represents the square with sides x=-2,x=2,y=2,y=-2 excluding origin + the squae containing the origin also i.e the total x-y plane

the first one is straight line y=x from (0,0) to (2,2)
the second one is straight line y=-x from (0,0) to (2,-2)
