After much anticipation, the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) is finally out with the dates of the most sought-after fashion event in the country, the Delhi Couture Week, this time with new sponsors.

FDCI has announced Synergy1 as the official sponsor and Aircel as the associate sponsor of the second edition of the Delhi Couture Week that will kick off on 22 July and go on till 25 July 2011. The event will have twelve leading couturiers of India showcasing their collections spanning four days.

Sunil Sethi, President FDCI said, "It gives me immense pleasure to announce the second edition of the Delhi Couture Week. After the roaring success of the past edition, we at FDCI are glad to present a bigger, better and the most unique couture event of India."

He added, "Couture has always been immensely popular in the Indian market, which is why a robust platform like this is significant in capturing the synergies that cater to creativity. I am most thankful to our sponsors for supporting us in our endeavor. This couture week will bring together the best designers from India to create never seen before moments."

The event will also be backed by partners like Signature brand from United Spirits, Kingfisher Ultra by United Breweries and Mitsubishi Outlander. The official e-zine partner fashionfad.in will stream the shows LIVE from the venue on the website www.fashionfad.in

Venue for the event will be The Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi.
