Luxury fashion house Lanvin is to make its debut into the world of kids wear with a collection of 25 pieces in November.
The fashion house, headed by designer Alber Elbaz, will aim at girls between the ages of four and 10, and include dresses, T-shirts, coats and accessories, reports femalefirst .
"It's a way to translate the universe of Lanvin ready-to-wear to the world of kids. We really want to stay in the luxury world," said Thierry Andretta, Lanvin's executive vice-president.
It will be sold in 80 Lanvin stores around the world but prices have not yet been confirmed.
The junior collection will debut at the same time as the resort collection, which will be unveiled in the summer and placed on sale in November.
