Designer duo Bharat-Reshma recently showcased their collection on the final day of the Kolkata Couture & Lifestyle Fashion Week (KCLFW).

Based on the concept of the 'Midas Touch', the collection reflected the magical touch of royalty and opulence in the way simple fabrics have been creatively transformed into great designs.

The show began with four men, bodies painted golden, setting the tone for what was to come – royal outfits for brides and grooms. The bride wore a heavily embroidered lehenga in white and pink, while the groom was in a white sherwani adorned with zardozi and dabka work. Also featured were silk dhotis and velvet jodhpurs for men, and zardozi lehengas and kundan jewellery for the women. The colour palette for the brides was white with shades of vermillion, teal and maroon. Bharat-Reshma's wedding glamour proved to be a fitting sign-off to the four-day-long KCLFW.
