Nift is an invitation-only network that helps neighborhood businesses get the right local customers to walk through the door. Launched in Boston in the Summer of 2016, our start-up out performs every other form of advertising and has helped over a million people discover great local businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and analytically size opportunities for product development that would drive business results

  • Ensure the team arrives at a shared vision by building consensus on priorities quickly, using user data and feedback, effort estimations, business metrics, and leading to product execution

  • Partner with Design and Engineering to ideate and manage product design, technical development, and the launch innovative product initiatives

  • Drive product development with a team of world-class engineers and product designers

  • Integrate results gathered by the team’s usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction

  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products and continue to track these metrics over time

  • Effectively communicate product advancements to the rest of the company and to users


Requirements

  • 3+ years product management experience (mostly in consumer facing application)

  • Knowledge of mobile app development lifecycle, concurrency, multiple screen sizes and mobile testing.

  • Extensive experience in analyzing product usage data to drive priorities (using R, SQL, Python, Google Analytics, internal dashboards, etc.)

  • Experience in technical architecture of web and mobile applications

  • Experience in creating examples through wireframes and mockups

  • Developed products that have shipped, gone into production, been heavily used

  • Data-driven decision making that keeps our energy on the biggest opportunities and gets the best product to market quickly
