Nift is disrupting performance marketing, delivering millions of new customers to brands every month and we are actively looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to join our team. We are a well-managed, cash-flow-positive company with a customer-first mindset. Our investors are the same folks who invested in Fitbit, Warby Parker, Wayfair, and Twitter. We're looking for a subject matter expert SME to help build our growth playbook and scale our company.

The role:

You will report to and work closely with our head of e-Commerce to create “unlocks'' for accelerated business performance. You will also work with our D2C brands' data to drive revenue growth. Primary responsibility is improving our funnel from category selection until purchase. It includes improving the category selection, gift selection, conversion rates, order rate, purchase conversion, and ultimately revenue growth. This is a key area of focus for Nift in 2023. You will identify & prioritize key areas of optimization and revenue growth. You will work closely with the entire leadership team, which includes our heads of UX/Brand, Development, and Data Science/Analytics teams. We are looking for an experienced growth specialist with a revenue mindset to understand customer (brands) & consumer behavior using data, analysis, and research experimentation. Then it’s all about the execution to iteratively test, measure, learn, and make changes that generates revenue growth.

What you will do:

  • Optimize consumer gift selections, increase conversion rates & bids, category selection
  • Analyze consumer behavior & data, identify and solve user pain points, improve the overall user experience and optimize the purchase funnel
  • Put yourself in the consumers & customers “shoes”, understand what they want, pique their interest, and what will keep them coming back for more
  • Design/conduct experiments, test/improve/optimize/hypothesize
  • Analyze data to understand what influenced consumers from intent to select to purchase
  • Work with the creative team on assets which are built to optimize with a data-driven mindset

What You Need:

  • 5+ years of growth/performance marketing experience ideally working with/for an entrepreneurial growing DTC business
  • Paid Search, paid social, email marketing expertise in bidding, targeting, optimization, testing approaches and incrementality analysis
  • Hands on experience using data & data sources to improve performance metrics (CPM, CPI, CPA, CPC & LTV)
  • Influence without having direct authority and control
  • Experience & knowledge of creative platforms, best practices, ability to coordinate & engage creative team providing direction, feedback, performance insights to achieve revenue objectives.
  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Advertising or equivalent experience, MBA is preferred
  • Small company or startup experience is preferred
  • Great work ethic, driven with a contagious "can-do" attitude
  • A great communicator with the ability to tell a story using data in a compelling and insightful manner
  • Strong business acumen and ability to effectively articulate rationale & making a business case
  • A team player who thrives in a remote work environment. Self-motivated, personally disciplined time management and organizational skills
  • Outstanding quantitative & analytical skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, generating new ideas, and creative approach. Obsessive with growth and making things work
  • Not afraid to get your hands dirty, roll up your sleeves, persistent, relentless
