In an era of constant change, some things remain great. The historic service, authentic ambiance and savory upscale American cuisine at Martin’s Tavern has remained a Georgetown favorite for nearly a century. Locally owned for four generations since 1933 and the oldest family-run restaurant in town, Martin’s is a long-standing beloved landmark.

Here's what people say after redeeming their Nift gift.
Loved the food and the quaintness of the restaurant. My only minor complaint is that they should dial back the Christmas back several notches.
Crab cake sliders were excellent. The bar tender was a pro.
Food was decent. Well priced. Good selection,
Didn't realize all the history this place had! I sat to do some work in the booth where JFK drafted his inaugural speech - how about that for productivity! The staff was very friendly, and I can attest that their french onion soup is REALLY good. Go here!
The restaurant serves traditional rich pub food which is not my preferred cuisine. However, the cobb salad I ordered had good flavor and was fresh. I like that they served fresh slices of hot chicken over the salad instead of little pieces. The atmosphere was rustic and cozy. The staff were friendly. They had problems crediting the nift and had to take my smartphone to the back of the restaurant which I found a bit unnerving. You should probably bring a paper copy for faster processing.
Sooo good!
